Years ago I made a frogfish mug, are you out there customer? I have been enamored with these fish ever since. They look like the sea floor, have fins that look like feet, and this species has leaf like scales growing all over it's body! Histro histro is the species name and it is endemic to the sargasso sea. I think the naming committee got this one right as "histro" in Latin means something that is over the top. The animals in the background are eel larve, for years people had no idea where eels were "born." Turns out many eels go through their entire larval stage in the sargasso. They look like little transparent leaves. With teeth.
