There is a female firefly species that mimics the flashing of another species of firefly. But then instead of mating with the males who are expecting a good date, she eats them. Gotta love nature ya' all! Our backyard is covered in fireflies in July and they are truly a spectacular sight. I love them. So the title, "Gone in a Flash" has 2 meanings. One about the particular femme fatale and another about how we really have to preserve ecosystems to keep these wonderful insects around.
