Peacocks are such a beautiful bird in a design sense, who has better feathers? Other than birds of paradise and bower birds who are on par with feathers that are grown by males to attract females.
Males flaunt and fluff and jump and fight in order to get the attention of females. In a big feathery gorgeous rumpus. I kinda want to make a huge peacock. Can you imagine this piece 4x larger? William Morris really had a great muse in these birds.
