This piece is a companion to "Gator Perch" I made them at the same time with the similar idea that a gator looks like a log in the water, and animals may perch atop.
In this piece there are also garfish swimming along the bottom. One of my fave podcasts is Ologies, and there is an episode about garfish that you can find here, highly recommend. And you can tell me, are they boopable? I was once canoeing in the everglades and they were jumping out of the water, one could have easily ended up in my boat.
