I remember the first time I saw in Ibis in an aviary, I believe it was Chicago and that bird blew my mind. It was the reddest animal I had ever seen and it was pruning its feathers with it's long beak. Isn't it strange the things we remember from childhood? I love the color red and am always enamored with birds with long necks. They have such an elegance and grace to them.
